Details
A classic Burundi profile, this lot was processed at Heza washing station using water from a nearby spring: citrus and black tea.Gitwe comes from the hills surrounding Heza washing station in northern Burundi. Reaching Heza means winding through steep mountains and across hand-built bridges, a reminder of just how remote this part of Kayanza is.
This lot was processed using water from a nearby spring and carries the distinct character that has made Burundi coffees so loved.
In the cup, expect bright citrus notes and tea-like qualities of black tea.
