We explore two expressions of the same harvest from Gaharo Hill, the birthplace of Long Miles Coffee: dried fruit and delicate florals.
Our selected coffee is a washed Red Bourbon from Gaharo Hill, processed at Bukeye Washing Station at the base of the hill.
Bukeye was built in 2013 with the local community and is still closely tied to the farmers who deliver cherry there today.
After sorting, the cherries are washed, fermented, and then dried slowly on raised beds. The result is a structured cup with raisin-like sweetness and a floral finish.
