
Nestor Lasso is a visionary young grower based in Pitalito, in the Huila region of Colombia, at the head of the El Diviso farm. Alongside his brother Adrian and their partner Jhoan Vergara (Finca Las Flores), he embodies a new generation of specialty coffee growers, combining family heritage with technical innovation.
Together, they work with rare varieties such as Sidra, Geisha, Pink Bourbon and Java, using highly controlled experimental processes: anaerobic fermentation, thermal washing, prolonged maceration and slow drying. The result is exceptionally complex coffees with floral, fruity and sometimes tropical profiles, often described as explosive and elegant.
Thanks to meticulous attention at every stage, Nestor Lasso has rapidly established itself as one of Colombia's most promising producers, combining expertise, sustainability and sensory excellence.
