Aroma Nativo is an up-and-coming farm located in the Huila region of Colombia. This project to search for exceptional micro-lots was founded by Luis Marcelino.

Since 2018, Luis has multiplied collaborations with passionate coffee producers in order to share their know-how and varieties almost unknown to the general public. In 2023, Luis is taking a new step with the “Veci” project: namely a collaborative production of coffee between coffee growers motivated by innovation, but who do not have the infrastructure and techniques for processing coffee. Aroma Nativo works as an incubator, to allow as many people as possible to discover incomparable coffees from Colombia.

Acevedo, San Adolfo, in the eastern mountain range of Colombia, was once a red zone controlled by the M19 and the FARC. However, in the last six years it has become possible to visit this region, which is now recognized as the specialty coffee paradise of Colombia due to its microclimate and unique terroir. It is also famous for being the birthplace of Pink Bourbon.

In the beginning, there is a tree, cherries. Once picked, the cherries go through a phase of fermentation and then drying. Then the green coffee bean is ready to arrive at our ports. The transmission of these beans leaves the roaster with the heavy task of revealing their richness and putting you in the best conditions to extract it perfectly.
