A taste of Julekaffe from around the world!
Solberg & Hansen

Julekaffe translates to Christmas Coffee and refers to coffees that are reminiscent of holiday flavors that bring comfort into your cup!

Julekaffe 001 is a washed Guatemala coffee from our friends Solberg & Hansen from Norway. In your cup you will find notes of garden berries, chocolate, and caramel. Solberg & Hansen are one of the OG's in the specialty coffee game & masters at holiday coffees. We had to bring them on to share their coffees with you this holiday season.

Julekaffe 002 is a natural Tanzania from Manhattan Coffee. When I heard about their holiday coffee, I purchased it right away! We do not often see Tanzanian coffees in our subscription, so this felt like the perfect time to share this coffee with you all. In your cup you will find notes of red apple, blackberry, and caramel.

Julekaffe 003 we are introducing our new friends at Honoroast from Qatar! This anaerobic natural Indonesian coffee reminds me of mulled wine! You will find notes of dark berries, cacao, and gingerbread syrup.

Julekaffe 004 is a natural hyrdro honey El Salvador coffee from Full Court Press in the UK. This coffee has beautiful notes of clove, dulce de leche, and sultana! This cup is the perfect holiday cup.

We have extra coffees that will be available for the month of December! It is not too late to subscribe to our subscription.

Suggested Method
  • Weigh out 16 g of coffee and grind on a medium setting
  • Place the filter paper into the filter cap, screw on the chamber and rinse with hot water.
  • Put coffee in the AeroPress chamber and let it rest on top of a cup or server. Place on a set of scales and tare.
  • Pour in 230 g water making sure the coffee and water are mixed well.
  • Insert the plunger, pull it up slightly to create a small vacuum so coffee doesn't drip through.
  • At 60 seconds, remove the plunger and stir 3 times with a spoon from front to back.
  • Re-insert plunger at 1:10, remove the scale and press down slowly finishing around 1:30.
  • Let the coffee cool for a few minutes, swirl and enjoy!.
