We occasionally would feature these special release coffees in smaller quantities and the feedback we got from our most loyal subscribers was simply: How can I get more coffees like these?
That brings us to our latest subscription offering. Rareglow was always intended to launch with our new website, however due to delays we didnt want to wait on delivering on this special release.
Each month we will will feature a single 100g serving of the rarest and most compelling coffees we can find. We recognize these types of coffees aren't your "every day" experiences. Elisabeth Johnson, our director of education & retail operations, recently competed at the 2022 US Barista Championship with this juicy coffee from Finca Deborah in Panama. She worked closely with Kyle Ramage of Black & White roasters on her stunning routine highlighting intentional trust. The Symbiosis process of this geisha refers to an extended anaerobic fermentation of whole coffee cherries. Naturally occurring bacteria consume sugars found in the coffee cherries and release CO2, which flushes the tanks of oxygen and further promotes fermentation. In the cup Elisabeth best compares it to biting into a juicy peach. We are honored to share this incredible coffee with you.
