Nemba

Its fragrance is very sweet, featuring notes of dried fruit—reminiscent of dried apricots—that are characteristic of the washed Burundian coffees we love so much. You can also detect honey and white floral notes. It has a honey-like acidity and a silky body. The finish is long and pleasant, leaving a sweet, honey-like sensation in the mouth.

The ripe cherries are harvested and undergo a thorough washing process. After depulping, the beans are fermented to remove residual mucilage and then washed with clean water. Subsequently, they are dried on raised beds in the sun, allowing for optimal air circulation that ensures even drying and preserves the coffee's sensory attributes.
