El Samán

Finca El Samán is the home of fifth-generation Colombian coffee producer Jaime Zuluaga. After beginning his career as a lawyer, Jaime returned to coffee with a fresh perspective, building a reputation for producing expressive coffees through thoughtful farming and meticulous attention to detail. Today, El Samán is recognised as one of Colombia's most exciting specialty coffee farms.

Rather than relying on a single approach, Jaime tailors his processing to each individual lot. By carefully matching varieties with fermentation methods and drying techniques, he brings out the best in every harvest while creating coffees that are vibrant, balanced, and full of character.

For this coffee, Jaime used a carbonic natural process to highlight the vibrant, fruit-forward character of the less-common Papayo variety. The result is playful fruit character, elegant florals, and remarkable clarity. It's a bold, juicy, and Super-Fruity!
