Fazenda do Salto is located at an altitude of 1,150 m in Carmo da Cachoeira, Sul de Minas (Brazil). Otávio Reis, the fifth generation of a family with a century-long coffee history, oversees 800 hectares of undulating plantations. The estate cultivates numerous varieties: Yellow Catucai, Catuai, Bourbon, Robusta hybrids (Robusta & Icatu), Mundo Novo, Arara, and Topazio, applying specific techniques to each plot to fully respect its terroir and variety.
With decades of family tradition and ongoing agronomic advice, Fazenda do Salto is an active member of the Specialty Coffee Association Brasil. Its batches regularly rank among the best competitions, including the Cup of Excellence, while Otávio and the younger generation multiply their experiments, new batches, and new fermentations, to constantly push the limits of quality.
