This lot comes from around 400 smallholder producers from the area of Chelbesa located in Gedeo Zone. They all deliver their coffee cherries to the Danche washing station, which is owned by SNAP coffee exporters.
This coffee is grown at high elevation, something which significantly contributes to the high quality and complexity of flavour.
Harvest & Post-Harvest
For the natural process, red cherries are harvested by surrounding farmers and delivered to the Danche station. The cherries are floated to remove any foreign material and floaters. After this, the cherries are placed on raised African beds for approximately 2 to 3 weeks for drying.

The bird in our logo is the tern, a migratory bird found in Oslo harbor that flies the longest distance in the world. We want to live our lives like a migratory bird, which, like the tern, stops at port cities around the world, absorbs the excellent energy of the land, and travels on to the next land.
