The Santa Teresa farm is situated in the Amazonas region of northern Peru, an area renowned for its rich biodiversity. The farm’s location in a biodiverse and fertile environment contributes to the unique flavour profile of the coffee. The coffee undergoes natural processing, where cherries are dried on raised beds, reducing water usage and minimising wastewater discharge, which is a more environmentally friendly method of coffee production.
Santa Teresa is tasting so special, syrupy and complex, this coffee has prominent bright citrus, jasmine florals, and tutti fruity flavours. A creamy, fudgy mouthfeel and long multi-layered finish. It’s no surprise that the farm has been represented in the Cup of Excellence competition, which can be thought of as the “Oscars of coffee”.
