La Maria Honey, Colombia

The La Maria Honey Gesha that's in your Rareglow subscription this month is the sister coffee to our La Maria Natural Gesha, both beautiful beans that come from the farm of husband and wife duo Orlando Ospina and Emilcen Sanchez - Orlando is an agronomist and his knowledge something you can taste in the cup. 

Sitting at 1650 - 1700 masl, the farm is nestled in the Cundinamarca region of Colombia and was recommended to us by one of our good producer friends Rodolfo (unavailable for comment at this time). 

This coffee has some classic Gesha notes but is elevated by an almost natural wine tartness. Think a structured orange wine - super delicious. This is one of our favourites at the roastery and we hope you like it as much as we do.
