Travelling to Colombia for the last couple of years, Huila has quickly become one of our favourite parts of the country. Amazing people, incredible empanadas and, of course, some of the best coffee in the world. During our most recent trip we found all three in Pitalito. This complex and sweet coffee really stood out on the cupping table and we couldn’t leave without it. Not far from Pitalito you’ll find Finca Girasol and this is where Eduardo grew this Pink Bourbon lot. In mineral rich soil his trees absorb water from the Sauza river. This all adds upp to a beautiful coffee that shows you why we’ve fallen in love with Huila.
